A place at a VELOVIA camp is confirmed after receipt of a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the camp; for bookings made less than 30 days before the start date, the full amount is payable. Payments are accepted by bank transfer only. Payment details are provided personally after the participant's application has been reviewed and accepted.
If you cancel more than 60 days before the camp starts, the amount paid is refunded minus a €100 administration fee. If you cancel 30–59 days before the start, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel less than 30 days before the start, the amount paid is non-refundable. Where possible, your booking can be transferred to another VELOVIA camp in the 2027 season, subject to availability and confirmation by VELOVIA, for a €100 fee. If VELOVIA cancels a camp, you can choose between a full refund of everything paid to VELOVIA for that camp, or a free transfer of your booking to another camp in the 2027 season, subject to availability. Costs paid to third parties, such as flights or extra accommodation, are not part of the refund.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and in suitable physical condition for multi-day road cycling in mountain terrain. A certified cycling helmet is mandatory on every ride. VELOVIA provides white cycling helmets free of charge for use during the camp. Riders should be comfortable with routes ranging from the daily distances and climbing of their chosen format (Performance: about 38–127 km and 375–2,625 m; Dolce Vita and Ladies Ride: about 22–48 km and 324–1,000 m).
VELOVIA provides additional group sports accident insurance during the camp. Participants must also hold valid personal health or sports insurance. Cycling involves inherent risks and all participants acknowledge and accept these risks. A separate participation and liability declaration is signed before the camp.
VELOVIA reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, activities or services due to weather conditions, road closures, safety considerations or circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will be made with participant safety and overall experience in mind.
Photos and videos may be captured during the camp and used for VELOVIA marketing, website, social media and promotional purposes. Detailed consent forms are completed separately before the start of the camp.
