Late August, when your season's fitness peaks and the mountains are at their warmest. The same epic routes ridden at the height of summer — perfect asphalt under deep-blue skies, and cool Rhodope evenings made for recovery.

Early September — the light softens, the forests begin to turn and the roads get even quieter. The same 299 kilometres, a completely different mountain. Arguably the most beautiful time of year to ride the Rhodopes.
